Colore By Jay Couture Collection 

Since every piece is custom made one by one, by hand, to your specific measurements, height and colour request,  orders typically take 4-8 weeks depending on the current volume of orders (plus 2-3 business days shipping time). If you need a piece delivered sooner you can elect to place a rush order and receive your piece by a deadline.

 

 

 

Couture/Wedding Service Process

1.Consultation

At an initial consultation, client and the Creative Director of Colore By Jay Couture will listen to your ideas and consider carefully the venue and mood of your Special day. From the beginning, you will be involved in the design and development of your garment. You will be provided with initial sketches and fabric samples to work towards a final design and cost.
All clients are encouraged to communicate all design ideas in detail and provide pictorial visuals of those ideas in order to ensure both parties understand what is to be achieved. The Creative Director of Colore By Jay Couture will then offer her own design expertise which may enhance, complement or change the client’s design.

Please note that for any dress designs chosen by the client which Colore By Jay Couture is not the original designer, Colore By Jay Couture cannot guarantee that the dress will be made 100% similar to the original design (only the original designer can do that). However, we will be able to recreate the dress with 95%-98% similarity to the original design using premium grade fabric, embellishments and techniques to achieve the same effect as the original; without compromising the beauty and uniqueness of your dress.

Please note that the client is free to change the agreed-upon design at any time during the order process up until the second consultation meeting. Once in the production phase, no changes can be made to the design and to measurements. The order becomes final and irrevocable.
Measurements will also be taken in person by the creative director on your initial consultation.

 

1.1 (a) - Consultation

Consultation is the first step in the order process. This involves a meeting between the client and the Creative Director of Colore By Jay Couture this meeting can be in one or more of the following forms:

In person.
Telephone.
WhatsApp Chat.
Skype / FaceTime Video Call.
Electronic Mail (E-Mail).
Any other medium whereby an agreement is reached on product and services to be rendered.

Deposit: Please note a 50% deposit is required at your initial consultation. 
No work will start until the deposit is made. 

Measurements will be taken. 

2. Pre-Production

2nd consultation service includes:

At your second consultation, you will have a pre-fit where you will confirm the size length and making sure is going as you want. This will be the only time a major alteration can be made.

Please note that due to the custom nature of our gowns Colore By Jay does not accept exchanges, refunds or cancellations on any orders. All sales are FINAL. Once an order has been placed and payment has been made, all payments are applied to the making of your dress including securing the fabric from outside vendors and stopping payments already made to vendors is not possible.


3. Post Fitting

3rd consultation service includes:

At your third appointment you will be fitted into your final dress and making sure is a bespoke fit small alteration might be made. On your post fitting, the total Payment must be made, your initial deposit will also be deducted on your final price.

 

4.Final Fitting

Final Fitting service includes:

Your final fitting will be 1-2 weeks before your special event on this fitting you will try your gown to make sure is as desired, our goal is to achieve a perfect fit before your big day!

Your garment will also be ready to take home!

If you wish for your garment to be delivered, that can also be discussed at your 3.Post Fitting.

 

Illustrations
These are available upon request only and are priced at £200  for Black & White sketches or £250 per sketch for Colour sketches. Clients that do not request a garment sketch will proceed automatically to the measurement phase. All sketches delivered to clients remain the sole property of Colore By Jay Couture, therefore, Colore By Jay reserves the right to use these sketches as it wishes. The illustration will be framed and given on your final fitting
